Maximizer Web Link for QuoteWerks

QuoteWerks integrated with Maximizer Web Access

The standard integration between Maximizer Web Access (version 2017 or later) and QuoteWerks, provided by Aspire Technologies in version 5.3 build 3.04 or later, only works with Maximizer CRM Live (North American version).  It does not work for on-premise Maximizer users or users of Maximizer CRM Live (EMEA) at this moment and it probably never will.

Our integration allows you to retrieve contact information, including company information (such as a VAT number, terms, customer pricing profile, etc.), although a contact would be selected.

When saving the quote, you can create a new opportunity or update an existing one in Maximizer Web Access and add the QuoteWerks DTF file and/or add a PDF file of your quote as well.

The DTF file allows users with QuoteWerks installed on their system to open the quote from within the Maximizer opportunity.  The PDF file allows users, that do not use QuoteWerks, to open and see what the quote is all about.

What does Maximizer Web Link for QuoteWerks (MWL4QW) do?

Retrieve contact and company related info
When clicking the contact button in QuoteWerks to bring up the search window for contacts, the Maximizer Web Link for QuoteWerks window pops up instead of the original QuoteWerks contact screen and allows you to search for companies and contacts, based on company name, first or last name, email address, phone numbers or parts of the address, like street, city, zip code, etc.

Also, when selecting a contact, Maximizer Web Link for QuoteWerks can also retrieve company related information, such as a VAT number, terms, customer pricing profile, etc.  This is not possible with the standard integration by Aspire Technologies.  In the Preferences you can set the mapping of your user-defined fields.

Links to existing opportunity or creates a new one
When saving the quote, Maximizer Web Link for QuoteWerks will ask you the first time whether you want to create a new opportunity or link up to an existing one in Maximizer. In the latter case, it will provide you with a list of opportunities for this company, which can be filtered to show only current opportunities.

An interfacing window pops up to show you the values, it has retrieved from the quote, such as revenue and cost, and it populates certain fields with your default choices from your Preferences. There's e.g. a default Team and Leader setting, default products/services and categories, and a default QuoteWerks quote layout to be used to create the PDF file.  These default settings avoid the need for setting these fields every time.  Obviously, in the interfacing window you can change these values as needed.

Set your Preferences
The Preferences window allows you to choose between an on-premise or Maximizer CRM Live (EMEA version) implementation and enter the URL or web address of your Maximizer Web Server, the database name, Vendor ID and AppKey, if applicable. Default settings are available for team, team leader, products/services and categories. You can also decide whether a DTF and/or PDF file should be stored into the Maximizer opportunity and which quote layout should typically be used for the PDF version of your quote.

Subscription
Maximizer Web Link for QuoteWerks comes as a yearly subscription per site and is not user based. It is available for 240 € for a whole year or 20 € per month per site (prices exclude VAT). Subscriptions expire on January 1 and should be renewed before that date. Customers signing up later in the year only pay for the remaining months.
